Camping out for the Parade

We will be going down tonight around 5:30 to set-up camp along the parade route.  If you are interested in coming down, please contact Chris Merrill at 801.884.8096 as he will be in our main point of contact for the stake tonight and in the morning.

Here are the address's of the two spots we are saving:  200 East & 200 South (in front of the Episcopal Church) and 200 East & 350 South (south of SLC Court) both of these spots are on the east side of the road.

Please bring chairs and blankets and plenty of fluids and snacks since you will be there for a long time. The parade starts at 9:00 am and ends at Noon.  Our float is near the end of the parade.  Hope you can come out and support us and most of all have fun while you are there!!

Last Chance for Flash Mob!!

We have one more practice left for the Flash Mob - this Thursday July 19th at 7pm at the Temple Point Building.  The dance is easy to pick up and only is about 20 seconds long.  We would love to have more people come down to the parade on July 24th and participate in this amazing and fun opportunity!

We scoped out spots this morning for our flash mobbers.  I need to confirm with KSL that they will be able to get us on camera before I release the locations.  We will have people camp out and save spots - if you would like to camp out, please contact me (Melanie Kirkland 801.209.4562).


Thanks to all our volunteers that have showed up and done an amazing job with everything....costumes, music, dancing, videos, building the float, fixing the float, making sure the float runs and all the other little and big things that had to get done!  We could not have pulled this off without you!!!

Parade Preview Party

Our float is being displayed at the South Towne Expo Center tomorrow Monday July 16th and Tuesday July 17th from 11am-9pm.  Admission is FREE.  There are a lot of activities geared towards children and you also get to vote for your favorite float......vote #6!!
